We are going to do a 4 day sea/3 day land. Is it less expensive if you book the cruise and then book the land separately? In the past, I've been fortunate to book the WL or the Swan at a discounted rate (room only codes and teacher discounts). Or does Disney give you some kind of deal when you book the total package? We are looking at traveling on the 11/13/05 4 day cruise. Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks.

I suggest you get quotes from DCL and then a couple of TAs as well as assembling your own package. Then choose which ever one is best.

Conventional wisdom is that it's cheaper to book separately but less hassle to do the package.

Also DCL ONLY offers Land/Sea packages with the land portion first so if you want to do the SEA/Land with the SEA part first, (Sunday - Thurs cruise and Thurs - Sun Parks) then you will have to book separately or get a TA to create a package for you.

It's been my experience that you're better off to book separate. It may be more expensive but you can definitely customize things much easier.

We are going on the 3 night land/4 night sea trip Nov. 10th-17th. We'll be in WDW on Nov. 10th and sail Nov. 13th on the Wonder. Since we have never done this before, we went through a travel agent. There is just soooo many questions to ask. I've been finding alot on these forums. Good luck!
