First time considering off-site...Windsor Hills?

Anyone have any experiences staying at Windsor Hills? We've never considered off-site before, but like the idea of having a 'home away from home' feel.

Also, does anyone know...do most of the units have a private pool, or is it a community type pool?

Well, I haven't been there yet, but I am planning on staying there this fall.

There is a community pool which appears very nice with a big curly water slide and some of those pop up fountains on the ground for little ones (and sometimes us big ones ha ha) to play in. The 2 & 3 bedroom condos do not have a pool. The bigger townhouses will have a splash pool and some a pool and a hot tub.

We've stayed at Windsor Hills more than we've stayed onsite and love it. We got a 3 bedroom townhouse with a splash pool and the kids never wanted to go to the main pool. The townhouse we usually rent it booked the week we are going so we are staying at Sunset Lakes now. The 4bedroom house with full pool in the back is less than a week at the townhouses at Windsor Hills. You will love it, great community and close to the parks.

We've stayed there twice. Loved both visits.

All units have use of the shared community pool. That's all that's available to the condos. Townhomes have a smallish "plunge pool". Larger than your average hot tub, but you won't be doing laps. The houses typically have their own private pools, and many also have spas. The listing for any particular unit should be explicit about what is and is not there.
