My family is planning a trip to Disney World and both Universal parks for March 2012 (third week). We have been to Disney World countless times and we pretty much know the ins and outs of all of the parks. We will be staying at a Disney resort and driving to Universal. I know about the express passes (like fastpasses) that you get when you stay on Universal property, however, we just don't have that in our budget. With that said... we will be planning one day at each park with no hopping. We will have four adults, a sixteen year old boy, a thirteen year old boy, a ten year old girl, and a 2 1/2 year old girl. What are the MUST SEE attractions we should not miss. Also, Which areas are great for my almost three year old niece? I know about the new Harryp Potter World. My boys have read the books and watched the movies so they will probably want to see that first. Also, I saw Dr. Seuss wold for the little one. Anything else???

For the younger people in addition to Seuss Landing they would also enjoy Camp Jurassic, Me Ship The Olive and the Jurassic Park Discovery Center at IOA. At the Studios, there is the Woody Woodpecker KidZone with Barney, Curious George Goes to Town, Feivel's playground, Woody Woodpecker Nuthouse coaster and E.T. They might also enjoy Jimmy Neutron and Shrek 4-D.

I think all attractions are must see attractions but do NOT miss the Horror Make Up Show at the Studios. It's a lot of fun and not scary.

To help with your planning, you should check out the trip reports on the DIS as well as YouTube for ride videos.

Must see it all and then do again the ones you liked the best. At US, Jimmy Neutron, Shrek, RRR, Twister, Mummy, Beetlejuice, Jaws, MIB, Simpsons, ET, T2 and Blues Brothers. Little one will like Barney, Woody Woodpecker coaster and Fievels Playland. At IOA, go straight to WWoHP when the gates open. In the Lost Continent, 8th voyage of Sinbad show, Poseidons Fury. In JP, ride JP River Adventure and take the little one to Pteranondon Flyers and then Suess Landing. Marvel Super Hero Island has Hulk, Spider Man, Doc Doom Fearfall. Toon Lagoon has Popeye/Bluto Bilge-Rat Barges and Dudley Do-Right Ripsaw Falls if you want to get really wet. Must ride Hippogriff and Dragon Challenge and if you have time see the Frog Choir and Triwizard Spirit Rally. Eat at Three Broomsticks and get the Great Feast Platter. More than enough food for four. Research/research/research. :woohoo:
