It's our first time staying at a disney resort. We have only stayed off site. We are driving 16 hours, trying to limit luggage as our 15 year old is WC bound and we are traveling in our accessible mini van. So we have her medical stuff . Also have 21,17 and 2 year old. We have limited what clothing is going but as Disney resorts do they provide Bath and Beach (pool) towels ? Also toiletries. We are staying at the Fort wilderness Cabins.

No, they do not provide towels at the pool's at Ft. wilderness. But you can bring the towels from the cabin. Yes, there are toiletries.

I suggest to do a good image search of the inside of the cabins so you are aware of the space you will have. Storage is tight and the bedroom small. Floor space at premium, even more since you'll have WC. This way if you need to think creatively you'll know all the nooks.

Since you will be a full 6 you won't be able to use the bunks as luggage racks. There are a couple small cabinets in living room and dresser drawers by tv that you can use, moving coffee table by empty wall could hold a suitcase. Bedroom has weird small counter over boxed wall and then a narrow cabinet with small drawers. You really need to utilize the closet so what I would do is bring wire hangers to fully utilize hanging clothes then just leave them there when you check out, putting suitcase on floor underneath. You may be able to slide suitcases under beds and act as drawer, depending on suitcase sizes.

I agree with the closet. I have not stayed in a cabin, but we also are a family who needs to use all the space in the room without seeming to be cluttered, (I get claustrophobic if too much stuff is around) so I bring wire hangers and wrinkle release spray. Hang as much as you can, and put your suitcases under the clothing.

Put a plastic bag in one of the suitcases that is upzippered at the top, and use it as your hamper. The top of the case can hold your toiletry bag. They sell some that are like little carriers. I pack it at home, close it up in a plastic bag and carry all my toiletries together. No need to leave it on the bathroom counter, just pop it on the suitcase.

If there is a shelf over the hanging bar in the closet, find a space to store shoes. Those things take up space!

Thanks for all suggestions. We usually pack light because we drive and we have a 2 year old so this means a stroller etc. We were hoping to save space with little things like towels and toiletries in our van, not the cabin. We are having some our daughters medical supplies ( diapers, wipes, bath chair that we are renting) shipped ahead of time to meet us there. Traveling with a special needs child is no easy task. Of course all of this may be in vane we are still about 1,000 short on our dining plan with just 3 days to pay we are hoping they don't cancel our reservations since the trip is technically not paid in full at that point. I want to cancel dining plan but then we'll lose our princess dining brunch and my daughter is so excited for that. Ugh.

I don't know what the cutoff is for changes in packages, however I do know that you will not lose your ADR's if you choose to cancel the plan. Your brunch is safe.

Call Disney and see what your options are in regards to the payments, and if there are ways to reduce the amount you owe in terms of dining plans. Good luck!

Thank you. We keep hoping for a miracle lol. I want just one vacation, just one tagt I don't have to cook . We never planned on being 24/7 caretakers but we wouldn't have it any other way.
