First time at Christmas

Planning my first visit at Christmas. Going Dec. 11-19. Normally go during Halloween/Food and Wine. 4 adults going on our first trip without my mom. Feeling a bit overwhelmed with planning and all of the events. We have our Jollywood tickets. Plan on adding Candelight and MVMCP. It feels like our planning is on hold waiting on Candelight date announcements. How quickly do the dining packages book? We don't want to book Christmas until we know the night for Candelight. Our first two noghts we are staying at AK. The last nights are at Boardwalk where we have never stayed. Please give suggestions for important things to do. What crowd levels can be like. Any tips at all. Thanks.

Candlelight Procession typically starts the day after Thanksgiving with multiple times each evening. I would plan to do Epcot for your when you’re at Boardwalk. The Christmas party tickets will sell out. I would get them sooner than later.

With the actor strike, that’s going to affect the celebrity narrator pool for candlelight.

The speed at which the CP dining packages sell out will have to do with who the narrator is for your chosen evening. Some narrators are more popular than others.

I agree with PP regarding the MVMCP tickets - I wouldn't wait too long on those. Crowd levels shouldn't be overwhelming as you are getting out just as the big holiday crowds will be moving in. I would plan on doing a resort tour to see decorations if you are interested - BC, GF and WL have gorgeous decor. You may also want to look into doing a carriage ride at Ft. W to see the holiday decorations there.

I was trying to wait until they announced narrators before i bought mvmcp tickets but getting nervous. One date during our trip has already sold out
