first time advice

MY family and i are going to wdw for the first time and we are staying at the rodeway inn on international drive, has anyone been there and could give an opinion, it doesnt look to hot in the brochure but you cant beat recomendation if i get negative feedback we can change hotels so i look forward to your comments.

My advice is, look up discount and budget ideas on mousesavers.com and stay onsite the first time. You'll end up winning far more in the end, in terms of getting reliable, regular transportation, a safe place and better treatment, even in a value resort.

WE stayed offsite the first time trying to save and I was shocked to learn it only took a few more bucks to stay onsite.

We have stayed at and will be staying in a few weeks at the Days Inn Maingate East. I know someone before me had said they had a bad expierence there. Last April we got an internet rate of $19.99 per night. This year I didn't do quite as good, but we are still only at $32.99 per night. They offer a free shuttle to Disney to. It had many running times and was never crowded while we were there. It is also easy in and out of the parking lot, there is a signal right there. There was a lot of restuarants and discount souviner shops close by. Also, Old Town was next door. This is shops, resturants, and a small carnival that is open everyday. As a perk the hotel gives you a discount book and free ride tickets. We found it to work well for us. I am hoping to have just as good time in a few weeks.

We've stayed at the HOJO Maingate East on 192 twice and loved it. We never had any problems whatsoever. We did rent a car tho, so I don't have any info on their transportation to the parks. The most we've paid is $32.99/night. I just visited a site called iBIDUSA.com. Go to accomodations then scroll to Kissimmee. There is a printable coupon for HOJO ME for $29.95/night.
