Can you get character meet and greet scheudles?? I didn't know that. That would be great to have.

You can ask for a time and location of a specific character (ex. Goofy will be in Toontown near his house at 12:45 pm). They will also tell you if said character will not be out in the park that day so that you don't waste your time waiting around for that character to appear.

DH and I have a long-standing tradition:

Book it to the lockers and always, always ride POTC first. Then we go to the River Belle Terrace for breakfast!

The one time we broke tradition (going to Nemo first) made the day feel disjointed. So yeah, POTC has to come first.

I really remember the E-ticket rides. My parents used to give my sister and I most of theirs -- now I know what a sacrifice it was -- I miss my Dad. But we'll always have Space Mountain - he and I.

We walk under those magical tunnels, walk into town square and just breeeathe it all in....that we're strolling down Main. St. USA and are REALLY REALLY at the HAPPIEST PLACE ON EARTH!!

Then we gaze at the castle and head over to...

AUTOPIA!!!

For some reason, that seems to be our favorite way to start out day...driving through the fresh morning air...just sucking it all in that we're REALLY here in DISNEYLAND!!! I LOVE IT!! and so does my 2 year old son...I think that's why we love it so much!

Once we get inside the gate we go through the right side and than head to Buzz lightyear and my Dh gets us fast passes to Space mountain than we ride buzz about 5 times.

Both times we arrived in the early afternoon, so we don't have a "morning" ritual. But what seems to have happened on both of our family trips is:

Excited stroll down Main Street

Stop to admire the Partner Statue and the castle

Head straight to Buzz Lightyear!

I don't know how this turned out to be the pattern, but it seems to have worked for us!

Oh and BTW, our "last night" ritual is to stop at the Emporium on the way out to buy WAY more stuff than we need....

We usually head to Tomorrowland to grab a Fastpass for Space Mtn., and then hightail it to Fantasyland for Dumbo and Peter Pan.

This trip will be a bit different, though. My entire extended family is going in honor of my mom who passed away in October. Disneyland was her favorite place on earth, and she absolutely loved Pirates of the Caribbean. So, our first stop will be at POC, and then we'll each get a large pretzel, her favorite snack.

We always go to Space Mountain first, get a FP, and then ride. I'm not sure it would feel right to do anything else first.

depending on the crowds we either first head to space mountain for FPs after taking in the atmosphere at the enterance to main street or we head over to POC grabbing indy FPs then its off to Pooh Corner for TiggerTails which are my favorite treats! even got the wife to mail me some here in Iraq!

I am so sorry to read this..it really brings back memories of 2005 when my own mom died suddenly..We also honored her when we made it back to Disneyland..Her favorite ride was Pirates...so..that one time..we went there first...(we usually hit Fantasyland..and..whichever ride has the smallest line)

We usually eat something in DTD. One time we were in a hurry so we ate Wetzel's and if we're not in a hurry we usually eat at Rainforest Cafe.

As soon as we enter the park we always stop at the gift shop by the right tunnel and buy ANOTHER autograph book for each of the girls and then we head straight for Splash Mountain. 3 of my 4 daughters LOVE that ride and I suspect the 4th will love it too since this year is the first year she will be tall enought to ride it!
