First thing to do at Disney Quest?

I hope you get to do all he wants to. My DS, will be 9 in 3 weeks, has never had a problem with height restrictions. He's been extremely tall for his age, he is at 62 inches now (5'2"), so I am lucky, but that brings up another question.......

Will they question him (me) for the PAP 3-9 age because of his height. He easily passes for 10-12 now at only 8, when folks first meet him. Of course, hang around him a bit he will act the age of 8 going on 9, but I don't think me or the CM's will want to go that route.

I wouldn't think they would question it....kids vary in all heights at different ages......especially having an PAP....ya go more than once a year....he's bound to be 9 one time that year and 10 the next time he goes that year. I think you'll be okay......don't worry! :flower:

Thanks....just as a precaution...I will pack a copy of his birth certificate. I won't bring original (due to Florida weather and park time-wet rides).

I hope it will never be questioned, but I can never tell.

"Why must my trip be SO far away?"

why not? :confused3 can't hurt!! :goodvibes

I think Pirates only has 4 (maybe 6) rooms to "ride". It really is a blast so very popular. Our family loves it and everyone in line can hear us cheering our success. pirate: pirate: And if my memory is correct it was the only ride that had a real que line set up - hint. Cyber Mtn has quite a few ride planning computers, maybe a dozen and probably about 8 simulators. Moved very quickly for us. Kids even swapped off to ride each others coasters, CMs were very nice. Oh, and if you don't want to ride you can watch them on the monitor  We actually bought our kids video of them riding their coasters and they are really cool (not something I would normally do) but they were so excited about designing themselves.

splashmt: after your bump and rereading the post, I would still hit "Pirates" first, Aladdin's Magic Carpet next. Go early...eat there @ the foodcourt area. We did this and were glad....10 min. after we did Pirates, there was quite a wait already :earseek: ...good luck & have fun!

DQ is one of the things that DD8 and I have not yet done (even living here for 2 1/2 years we still have lots we have not explored - the older she gets the more fun we have), so I am glad to see this post. I am thinking about hitting there on the 2nd or 3rd as they don't go back to school until the 4th.

I have absolutely no idea what to expect when we get there, so I guess I wll check out the allears.net link!!!!

We use to go to DQ every friday for a quest burger, so we know DQ very well. The first thing we do after we get off the elevator is to check the wait board. If Pirates and/or jungle cruise is a 20 min or less wait, we head straight there...1st floor.

Thanks BubbasMom! Glad your post helped you so much. We are actually planning on going to DQ our 1st day at DW. We will on arrive on property too late to go to the parks for us (we get there AT opening normally), and my son loves the LEGO land at MarketPlace. We want to do something new this time, and do it right! :moped:

Does anyone know what time Disney Quest usually opens? I want to do this on our last day, but we need to leave by 1:30 to get to the airport.
Thanks!!

nope---don't even bother checking the wait board splashmt....just go directly there....it's all the way downstairs--and i recommend the stairs cuz you can move faster than the elevator. you will enjoy Pirates so much, that if there isn't much of a line when you're done, you'll get right back into it to do it again. if there's a line, you might tend to "bag it"...like we did! you'll still get to see everything else at DQ, but if you can 2x in Pirates right away, do it....
