Hi,
I've gathered some ideas of things I need to do when I first get on the ship from this board. Please let me know if I've left out anything:
Palo reservations, Kids club sign up, hair braiding appointment, spa reservations.
How about things like wine tasting? Do I need to sign up for that right away? Also which goes the fastest?

Thanks in advance-
Donna

You can sign-up the kids up in the terminal now, as well as on board. I would say that Palo goes the quickest, followed by spa reservations but that is only a guess. I am not sure when/where you signup for the hairbraiding..

Just wanted tickets to Tea With Wendy, as these go very very quickly.

My DD loved it, I thought it was so-so, but was a must do for her!!
We booked the hair braiding at Preludes, may have changed, but was there in September..

Enjoy.. :goodvibes

Where do you go to make Palo reservations? Is it always the same place?
How do you know?

Thanks, Bee

Since we try to get to the terminal as soon as they allow you in, we go to eat the first thing upon embarkation. Afterwards, we'll go for Palo reservations. Those are our only two priorities. I suppose with this next cruise next year, getting Flounders reservations will be important, as well.

On the Magic it is Rockin' Bar D. On the Wonder it is Wavebands. When you check in at Port, they'll give you a sheet of paper that is double sided. One side shows a map of the ship, the second side will list the various 'going-ons' that day upon embarkation.

We were onboard about 100th in line. When the doors opened we scooted right up to the CC Cabana massage sign-up......we got the LAST slots!!! Mind you , this was probably only 20 minutes after the doors opened, maybe less.
We then headed down to Palo reservations and had no trouble whatsoever getting the time slot we wanted. THEN we went to have a welcome cocktail and some food. So, I would definitely say that the Cabana Massages for CC got the fastest!

After 12 Magic cruises...a couple of hints.

First, if you are travelling as a couple, only ONE of you needs to be there to make the ressies. You can send DH to make the Palo ressies and you can go make the spa ressies.

I would put in order Palo, Spa, Tea with Wendy (get tickets at guest services), Dining Changes (if needed), then go to lunch. Registering the kids can be done in the terminal before boarding OR wait till later. Your kids have a guaranteed spot--it won't fill up.

When you check in at the terminal, you will receive a paper with Welcome Aboard on it. That will list where everything it--dining changes, various ressies, etc. They are generally in standard locations, but occasionally are moved.
