Hiya all

What i would like to know is does the early = better rule still apply when were talking water parks??
I am staying onsite at disney and i am loathed to miss too many of my extra magic hours......lets face it they are the perk to staying onsite yes? So how feasible is it for me to stroll in to BB or TL after doing EMH??
Has anyone got any tips? Also are the water parks busier on certain days? Presently i am thinking of going to do emh on wed at epcot then maybe TL, and then mgm on tues and BB ,,,is it do-able?
Do people get the best places more or less staked out and then stay there all day? Am i right in avoiding the weekends or is sunday ok? I have a big space on sat and sun due to most stuff being busy!
:)

Our last couple trips have been in the summer months, so it's been very busy. We tend to go to the waterparks on the weekdays. On our last trip, we waited until the afternoon before hitting the waterparks. Lots of people were tired and leaving as we arrived. The one day, there was, as there usually is in the summer, a rain storm with some thunder and lightning thrown in. Well, after the storm, we went to TL, and it was empty. We walked on to everything. It was amazing, and it was the most fun I've had at a waterpark in years.

We have gone a few times when the water parks open and a few about 2 or 3 in the afternoon. You have to run to get a good place when you go early. In the afternoon, you can pretty much find a good place.

Thanks for helping
It does seem as though we would be ok arriving in the afternoon, especially as we are not visiting in high summer.
I was a bit concerned about the heat anyway.....or does it not apply in Florida that its hotter mid-day?

What are the dining options like at the water parks?

The main problem I can see with going to the water parks in the afternoon is this: If it is really hot, the water parks wills reach capacity and they will not let anybody else in. This happened almost everyday we were there a couple summers ago.

Thanks ....i will take all of this into consideration when planning. Can you believe i still havent planned my fortnight! aaargh!!

I keep juggling things when i hear conflicting views etc.....spose ill arrive ,feel the heat and cancel all my plans.......maybe spend the whole fourteen days and nights wimping out due to the weather! LOL
