First the tomatoes and now pears!

My mom gave me a BOX full of pears that I have to find something to do with.


I know I can can them ( can can you? ) but what else can I do with them?



BTW the tomatoes are all nicely frozen away for making sauces with later. Thanks again to all who answered

You can make a nice gingered pear desert

You can probably make a fruit compote, or chutney to use at like Thanksgiving.
