The Poly! Very excited. We have a standard view studio. Any tips or things to do and see here since it's our first time. Thanks

1. Trader sam's tiki terrace is a great place to get a drink/appetizer and enjoy the beautiful weather. Still haven't been inside for a drink yet since I like the outdoor seating so much. It's been a while since we were there (hoping to return soon) but they previously had live music at night and he took a break when it was time for fireworks (they piped the wishes music in too)
My favorite is a spiked pineapple (basically a run spike dole whip)
2. Don't use the resort monorail to MK if the Express is running-the walk to GCH and TTC is very similar from the DVC longhouses and then you will get to MK quicker. Also walk to TTC to catch the Epcot monorail unless you are just looking to ride the monorail around-sooo much faster that way.
3. Be sure to check the monorail times on the weekly guide when you check in. It varies from day to day due to service and sometimes it is completely down for early MK access (in that case it is a bus shared with GF or the boat)
4. The boat to MK picks up at GF first so if you are trying to take it at rope drop you may not be able to get on if there are a lot of people waiting in front of you-I'd suggest taking it at other times since presumably little to no people will be getting off at the Poly freeing up seats first thing in the morning.

Order a lapu lapu and twilight feast (for 2) from room service. And Kona for breakfast. Always.

What are these and yes we have reservations for breakfast at Kona. Can't decide if I want the pancakes with the nut butter and pineapple or the tonga toast!

Twilight Feast is the room service for food from Ohana. Lapu Lapu is a version of a mai tai served in a pineapple.

If you do the Twilight feast you do not have to order a meal for each person - one meal can easily service 2 - maybe more.

Request Tokelau north end for a partial MK view (by leaning over your railing basically). We loved going out on the balcony every morning and seeing Space Mountain!

Also you can get the Ohana wings and bread pudding from the Tambu lounge.
