First stay at Tropicana... early check in?

My first stay at Tropicana is coming up in a few weeks-- 3 weeks and 4 days to go!

My flight has me arriving at 9:15am. Add in getting to the taxis at LGB, and I imagine I will be in the DLR area before/around 10:30am. Obviously, check in won't be that early, so my main questions is if Tropicana will let me drop my bags off and head over to the parks, coming back closer to check-in time? I assume so, but if they won't hold my bags, I need to reassess my packing now

Also, is there any area of rooms that I should ask for, or avoid? I can't remember if I'm in a 2 queen room, or a 1 king room. It's just me, so I'll feel like I'm in a huge bed either way!

They can check your bags into a locked room behind the desk. We have checked in early and left our bags then came back when the room was ready. We have stayed there several times and enjoyed it.
