First stay at AKL was wonderful

Just back from our first stay at AKL. What a beatiful lodge. We had reserved a standard view but when we got to our room we found it was a savannah view. We tried Bomas for breakfast and dinner and really enjoyed it. Tried MARAS the fast food court and thought it was reasonable and had a couple of nice dishes. I loved the african stew in the bread bowl and DW loved the butternut soup. We spent one day just at the lodge viewing the animals using the pool and just relaxing in the lobby. We only used the bus service for transportation and have no complaints only pretty quick service. Definitely a magical time for us.

I too had a wonderful stay when I was there in December. I loved it so much that I don't want to stay anywhere else ever again (except my other home away from home, POFQ). Glad you loved it.
