Just a few thoughts:

  1. I think I would have loved it much more had the weather been nice. I did LOVE it our last day when it was in the 70s and we ate our lunch on the boardwalk. Well, except for those birds.
  2. I wish we would have had a Boardwalk view. Many nights we could hear EPCOT's fireworks as we were getting the kiddos ready for bed. Would have been awesome to just open the drapes and watch from the room.
  3. Our room was far from the elevator. I didn't think it would matter, but what a long walk.
  4. I loved being able to walk over to EPCOT, grab lunch (fish and chips!) and walk back to the Boardwalk.
  5. Since we had "extra" points we treated ourselves to a 2-bedroom. Invited friends - gave them the studio.
  6. I don't think we could ever stay in a studio (though that was our plan when buying points). That one-bedroom is just awesome. Looks like we need more points.
  7. I felt like the CMs there thought we should already know how everything works/where everything is. We seemed to have gotten better "direction" when we stayed at Caribbean Beach. Maybe they just assume that DVC members know what's going on?
  8. I felt like we had to wait a long time for buses to MK.

BWV is our favorite. Sorry the weather was uncooperative! Next time yes please do try the Boardwalk View. We love sitting out in the evening watching the fireworks or just watching the people and entertainment on the Boardwalk. (But when you smell all those good smells it sure gets you hungry! :rotfl2:)

It's a common gripe that all the rooms are a distance from the elevators!! As for CM instructions, I've see that myself over the past three years. The assumption is you know what you are doing....and you know the saying about assuming!!!

Don't get me started on Disney Buses!! They are my sore point and I will save whatever I have to in order to have a rental car with me! :sad2: I think it's a great and wonderful service.....I'm just to impatient!

All in all though BWV is our absolute favorite resort!

:) I do not like fish and chips, but love walking around the BW. We were trying to find Mara at Jambo last Nov....looked for it off the lobby for about 20minutes and even at the lobby map, the four of us(all adults, one is a real rocket scientist) could not figure out how to get to it. The CM just kept saying it is down the stairs.....not down the stairs, through the glass doors, then follow the walkway by the pool.
