OK, as if spam in your email box isn't bad enough, now we are going to have "spit".
If any of you have "VOIP", voice over internet protocol, ( internet telephones ) marketers are now using the internet to fill your voice mailboxes.
I don't know what the "s" stands for, but the rest is Protocol Internet Telephony.... SPIT.
Email spam, while annoying, is fairly innocuous, especially when compared to SPIT.
Can you imagine sleazy marketers sending you porn voice mails that you must at least partially listen to before knowing that you can delete it? Can you imagine the time that this will watse in your life? What if your children check the voice mail?
And, rest assured, that many of us will be using VOIP in the not to didstant future. It is far cheaper than a regular phone line, and the voice quality is quickly approaching regular phone line quality.
I absloutely hate marketere that infringe on an individual's quality of life. While not normally a violent person, I would make an exception for these sleazy individuals. It wouldn't be pretty.
I recommend calling the appropriate governmental members and letting them know how you feel, right now, whether you have VOIP or not. Let's get started on stopping this before it gets out of control!
