First Solo trip To Disney... Hong Kong!!

I am able to have my first ever solo trip to Disney, and it will be at Hong Kong Disney Land! I have a 12 hour lay over in Hong Kong in October solo, so I am going to subway over to the Park!! Really excited to have the opportunity to do this!

Has anyone on here ever done a solo day at Hong kong Disney? Any tips or suggestions?

Nice. I haven't been to HK but I know Mystic Manor is the must-see attraction. There is a sub-forum here under Other Lands that has a section for HK and other overseas Disney Parks. You might check that out for more information. Have fun!

I went to HKDL last September for a short daytrip with my partner. HKDL is a very small park and doesn't feel busy at all compared to the US parks. Definitely ride Mystic Manor! It's one of my favorite Disney rides of all time. Also make sure to ride Big Grizzly Mountain Runaway Mine Cars.

Ah yes!! I was listening to WDW radios older episode about HK this morning and he talked about both!! Very exciting! Is there any unique food you can recommend?

I really like it's a small world attraction in HKDL. If you can stay for night entertainment, don't miss Paint the Night parade.
When I was there (mid April), most attractions were walk-on.
I don't know when you are going, but people of China celebrate their national day on October 1, which is usually long holiday for them so HKDL may be crowded.

Yes! so we are not attending till the 4th To avoid the larger crowds! We will definitely be there at night for pain the night. thanks for the tips

I've done all sorts of solo trips all over the world but not to HK (yet). I've had friends that have been to HK numerous times and have warned me about visiting HK (crowds, customs, etc.) and said they wouldn't even temp to visit HKDL but if I was in the same situation as you I would definitely go. I hope you have a great trip.
