First Solo Trip Oct 23-Nov 6, 2015 (Yes, 2 weeks!)

I came back from my first ever 2 week solo trip last saturday and I must say I had a blast. This was the best Disney trip ever. I never ever felt lonely. I did meet up with some dissers but spent at least 6 days completely on my own. I dined with dissers but also had a lot of solo dinners. I had a TS dinner every day. Never ever have I felt akward. I thought doing TS alone would be but I felt very comfortable when I had my first solo dinner. Everything they say is true, nobody is even noticing you. Everyone is so busy with their own vacation that I never noticed that people were looking at me.

I'm an introvert and consider myself a shy person. I have done things on this trip however that I thought I would never do on my own. My mission was to do all the rides I never did before because my wife didn't want to do them, including the kiddie rides. I have done rides like Barnstormer, Astro Orbiter, Magic Carpets of Aladdin and even Enchanted Tales with Belle without feeling awkward. When I was waiting in line for Barnstormer a CM let me skip about 50 people in line because I was alone and they had 1 car left to fill up. Everybody had to get out of the way as I was walking to the front of the line. It was hilarious actually :) I had character meetings with Donald, Goofy, Daisy and Minnie at Pete's Silly Sideshow. And yes, I really was the only adult without kids waiting in line and the only adult that had his pic taken with the characters. And still it didn't feel akward. I also had my pic taken with Mickey and Tinkerbell. I guess I can stop calling myself shy after this trip :)

I lived life to the max those 2 weeks. Mostly I was at the parks for rope drop and left when it closed. I got to do so many new things. I finally saw the Electrical Water Pageant. I did MNSSHP. I saw Hallowishes from Cali Grill and from TTC. I must say all CMs were very friendly to me. Also servers in restaurants were very friendly. One night a little magic happened at Aloha Isles. I ordered a Dole Whip and grabbed for my wallet. The CM said - it's hot and humid, you're good! How nice. I'll definitely go back next year for another 2 weeks. If anyone has doubts to do a solo trip then stop doubting now and just freakin' do it. It's an amazing experience and much better than I could have ever imagined :)
