First solo trip booked!

I havent been to WDW in over 7 years. Excited to be going back. I might end up not being solo on the trip, but everyone is dragging their feet deciding if they want to go or not so I just booked it for myself. Will be going Sept 23-30 and staying at Pop Century. Considered a moderate, but cant justify the difference in price for this trip since I plan on being that the parks almost all day every day. I am counting down the days!

Just out of the blue booked a solo trip for pop in December. It seems completely crazy to me, but it's something I've wanted to do for a while.

I just got back from my first solo trip, also at Pop, and I LOVED IT! I was never lonely or awkward and I got to do exactly what I wanted and move at my own pace. It was great! (just have a smart phone with an extra battery when you're waiting in line)

Glad to hear you had a good time. I cant wait for my solo trip. Pop is a great value resort. Its my fave actually! I love the lakeview. so beautiful.

Any other tips? I do go to Disneyland solo from time to time so it wont be to strange, but I usually only go solo for day trips! Cant wait for September!

Did my first solo trip adding on to a work conference in May. I stayed at POR. It was a great resort for it because the expansive grounds, boat to DTD, and great quick service options.

I noticed there were plenty of other solo travelers...never noticed before because I never payed attention to it. I was able to make all parks and do the rides I wanted mutiple times.

When I ate at the hotel food court I brought my MP3 to listen to a podcast while I ate and watched Disney Channel on their screen. And be sure to have an extra battery for your smart phone since you'll be using it a lot waiting in lines. I got a Mophie, it's a thick phone case that has the second battery inside doubling your battery time. Also, when not actively using your phone, always put into airplane mode to conserve energy.
