Thanks for the recipes.

Ummm..I don't want to be a pest, but I've finished my dinner and you did say I could have some extra crispy, ice cold apple crisp..:rolleyes1

Shall I put the porch light on? :lmao:

What did you end up making, Heidi??

Now I think I will make myself a small apple crisp for dessert tonight ;)
But it was actually about 60 today....no snow ;)

Sorry Nancy wasn't ignoring you, needed to wait until DH got home to see what he wanted. I made apple crisp and it turned out great (even though I don't like mushy foods, yes I have a bit of a food texture issues).

I hope you saved 4-5 apples to make applesauce! :goodvibes Plain, cold, sweet applesauce. And a hunk of sharp chedder cheese. And grilled keilbasa.:cool1:

Actually yes even after doubling the recipe I still have apples left.

It is too late to matter, but I voted apple crisp too:thumbsup2 I am glad you liked yours texture and all.
It has been chilly here the past couple of weeks. I think the kids and I have made four apple crisps and two apple cakes in the past three weeks:rotfl: It is all so yummy. We are partial to the crisp warm from the oven served with fresh whipped cream:love: We like the cake chilled with either caramel glaze or cream cheese frosting. Okay, I'm hungry now:rotfl2:
