It snowed yesterday! The Christmas season has officially begun!

So has it snowed where you live? Do you even get snow in your town?

We had a dusting of snow overnight in Plymouth. I think Mindy is enjoying it.

We got our annual freeze last couple of days and I swear one flake and Houston shuts down for the day. Its like they don't know what snow looks like. I just waited till it stopped falling and then headed home.

No snow here, we usually don't get much if any.

We are more of the ice storm, sleet area of Virginia.

Hi! We got just a dusting but it was enough to make the Christmas lights looks nicer. I am still hoping for a white Christmas.:goodvibes

:thumbsup2 I can totally relate. We got snow near Dallas last week. The weatherman was hyping it like a blizzard. It was a few inches of snow and melted by mid-afternoon. It was beautiful to look at while it lasted. I grew up in MA, I know what a blizzard looks like! :rotfl: It snowed in Plymouth? I'm surprised my Dad didn't call to brag. He always calls me when it is snowing in Plymouth and we have nothing.

:goodvibes Jennifer

109 inches last year here in Holland MI, first snow (late for us) Thursday and Friday last week. Big storm coming Tuesday through Thursday this week! I love it until Dec 26, then I would love to live in FL!!! We are used to it here,4 wheel drive vehicles and a new snowblower sitting in the garage!

I live in central Alabama (Tuskegee), and when got a brief "slushy type" mix this past week. It was only for a few hours and it was gone by 6am the next morning. But from Birmingham on up to Huntsville, AL, they got snow flurries!

No snow here, except on Main Street, DL.

We got our snow overnight Sat-Sun.
Very pretty blue sky Sunday.

Later in the week is supposed to be messy, sloppy, then icy.

About 3 inches Sat night - it was sure pretty on Sun .. but now its getting cold because of it .. brrrr..

First bits of snow this morning. Enough to cover the grass and make it white. Thank goodness the sun has come out and melted it all away.:goodvibes:goodvibes:goodvibes

No snow here, we've had a couple of frosts. I did think it was snowing last week but it was chips of paint coming off the roof at work - we've had very high winds recently.

No. We just got our first freeze here last week - it was 3 full weeks past the latest date on record for our first freeze of the season IIRC from the news. We get snow some years, but not all. And most of the time if we do it's less than an inch. I think there've only been 2 snows with measurable, lingering snow in the 10 years I've lived in NC.

I do have to say, I'm from Rochester, NY, so I've seen more than my fair share of snow. Around here everything really does shut down for a tiny bit of snow, but after the first couple of times, I agree with it. NO ONE knows how to drive in it, and there's no equipment to clean it up. A couple of years ago there was a day with an inch or 2 of snow. Everyone immediately hit the roads to get home, and that turned the little amt of snow all to ice - it was just the right temp for it. Traffic was tied up for hours and hours - some people slept in their cars!:scared1: Better to keep everybody home!
