I just upgraded from a Nikon D40 to a D90 this past week. I planned on going out Saturday and trying it out but didn't think it would work out like it did. We had storms Friday night and had two comfirmed tornados in our county. I know our area got off light compared to others but it is still amazing what mother nature can do. These are pictures from around my MIL and FIL's house. My neighborhood didn't have any damage.

Here are two pics from their house. They were very lucky compared to their neighbors. They only had a few tress damaged and all fell away from the house.

These pictures are one street over from them. The pictures do not convey the devastation.

This person was not home at the time of the storm.

Our town was lucky because there were no serious injuries.
We had an interesting Easter dinner since my In laws power was out until 10 pm Saturday. She still wanted to have Easter dinner at her house so we had ham sandwiches, deviled eggs and pasta salad. But we were glad to be together with family. Our town was lucky because there were no serious injuries. I just feel for the families whose houses were distroyed.

What was on the dinner table doesnt matter compared to everyone being safe. As long as your loved ones are fine and you were all together for Easter ....the dinner is secondary! Glad to hear you were spared serious damage and everyone is fine.
