"First rule of leadership, Princess...." ~Overdosing on Ice Cream

great update and pics.

we are going there and I am looking forward to it.

Yum! I had the crab legs too, there were so many of them! Glad you enjoyed your dinner. We really have had great meals at CR too!

Allyson :)

great update and pictures, Chel!
In Sept, we had our anniversary dinner at Coral Reef. One of our best meals.
Glad you enjoyed it (mostly)

Glad you had a great experiance at Coral Reef, I wish I could say the same. Our service was awful but they were VERY busy and I think they were overbooked for FD.

I'm glad you enjoyed CR. I was a bit apprehensive that you'd have a not so good experience as many DISers have had there. See Heath and Javens Mom's post. hi farrah.

I had the steak as well...MMMMMMMMMMMMM.

Sure am glad Daisy didn't think the lobster soup was "lame". :lmao: It sounds like y'all had a great meal. The diver is a treat. Do they charge extra for that? I love the pics of the turtle.

great updates, your new house looks fantastic, im sure lots of happy memories will be made there over the coming years.

Really enjoyed the reveiw of coral reef as this is on our to do list for our forthcoming trip including the diver as ds1 will be turning 4, the food look fantastic, i will just make sure ds doesnt have the mac and cheese!!!!

I don't do crab legs, but Daisy enjoyed them.

That's to bad. I think it might depend a little on where you are sitting too. I don't think it would be quite as nice if you were all the way back on the third tier?

I was torn between ordering the steak or the pork chop, but I really wanted the potatoes that came with the pork chop.

:lmao: The diver and personalized menu were free. You just have to call and request them.

Thank you!

Great update! Love that David was a bit slow on the whole diver thing.

Those crab legs and creme brulee look scrumptious! I had the catfish on grits (you can take the girl out of the South, but you can't take the South out of the girl :lmao: ) which was spicy but tasty. I don't remember what Charles got -- we both had the Chocolate Wave and liked it. The kids had the chicken off the kids' menu. :goodvibes

I liked the chocolate wave, I just liked the creme brulee better. I'm not really chocolate kinda girl.

I've never had grits in my whole life. My only knowledge of them comes from the movie "My Cousin Vinny."

:lmao:

I think it is an acquired taste or one you have to have instilled in you from birth. When they are served with lots of butter or cheese or with shrimp, they can be out of this world!

Glad you enjoyed CR! You got some great pictures of the turtle; he never swam by while we were there. I'm not much on chocolate cake, either, but the chocolate wave was sooo good. It just needs some vanilla ice cream on the side to cut the sweetness.

And here's one southern girl who says yuck to grits!;) Well, the only ones I've had that I liked were shrimp and grits at Fatz Cafe. Had them at Bubba Gumps' and did not like them. I think you do have to eat them from birth to acquire that taste.

:lmao: Apparently I won't be enjoying grits, not having been eating them since birth.

Fried okra is da bomb!:thumbsup2

Collard greens not so much...
