Day 7, our last day! It was definitely time to go home! We missed the kiddos a ton! More then a ton actually!!!!!! They were having a blast with Grandma and Grandpa but they missed us too! I couldnt wait for hugs!
When we woke up we decided to cancel our breakfast at Kona Café because after the terrible heartburn I was a little wary of eating Tonga Toast, which was what I wanted! I was thinking a smaller, lighter breakfast was a much better option!
So I called dining and cancelled the reservation!
We finished packing up, called bell service, took a few more pictures

(LOVE my zoom lens

and when bell service had taken our stuff, we headed toward MK!

We walked through the gate a few minutes after 9 and noticed that there was quite a contrast to the previous night! There was no one in MK!!! It was empty!
I had one thing on my agenda for the day! That was to get DH on either BTMRR or Splash, or both! He had promised me both but with having not felt well for the majority of the trip he was a little apprehensive!
He decided that Splash was the better option and I wasnt going to argue! He kept asking me if hed get wet! I told him a little but he wasnt going to get drenched! I told him it wasnt Kali River Rapids wet! He was happy with that but we stopped at the shop (what is it called?!) to get plastic bags to protect our phones and my camera! Just in case.
One picture before the camera was securely wrapped in the bag,

Then we walked right onto Splash with only 2 other people in our log! DH was like a little kid the whole ride! Every time we went down one of the smaller drops he would ask if that was it! Finally I reminded him that you could see the final drop from outside and we hadnt been down a big drop outside! LOL!! Then it finally came and he loved it! We barely got wet!
Then we started to round the turn outside and could see the log in front of us get hit with the big wave from the log coming down the drop! I knew right then we were going to get it!
Sure enough we got closer and the wave from the dropping log hit us! It hit us like a tsunami! We got drenched!!! Oh no!
I was a little worried about how DH was going to react! But he just laughed! That made me laugh! We laughed and laughed! It was hysterical!
All soaked and having a great time we decided it was time to get some breakfast and dry off a little! So we headed toward the bakery!
Some Frontierland pics along the way back to Main Street,

Moving onto Liberty Square,

We decided on sharing a cinnamon roll and getting some fruit too! DH went off for a bio break while I got our food and found a table in the sun by Caseys!
We ate our breakfast, and dare I say it, the cinnamon roll was not very good! It didnt taste like we remembered! It was way too sweet and not very warm! We both ate a few bites and then ate the fruit!
Before we left our table I had to take a picture of the hidden I found! DH thought I was crazy!

Then we were off to Fantasyland! Sorry for the lack of pictures for this part, I think I was trying to soak up ever last bit of Disney Magic!
We were able to just about walk onto Peter Pan, we waited maybe 5 minutes! It was after 10 at this point and there was barely a wait! Then we headed over to Pooh, which was a walk on! Then Snow White and then off to PhilHarMagic!
Then we headed over to HM for the last ride of the trip!
After HM we were starving because of our rather small and disappointing breakfast! Luckily, at some point during the week, not sure when, I had decided to make a lunch ADR at The Plaza for before we left so we would have a good meal!
It was our first time at The Plaza and it wont be our last! I really enjoyed the quaint atmosphere and the yummy cheeseburger! So did DH!!
Something odd happened while we were there though! There are no bathrooms inside The Plaza! You have to go outside and use the bathroom next to the restaurant if need be. A family sitting a few tables away all got up and left at the same time. Apparently the CMs thought they had decided to skip lunch at The Plaza and sat another family at the table. Well, the first family soon returned to find other people sitting in their seats! They had all gone to the bathroom at the same time!
The CMs were very confused and very apologetic! The new family left the seats and the old family got their seats back!
It was all very weird and I hope they made some sort of effort to make the situation a little more magical for both families!
So, after some yummy cheeseburgers we decided to do a little bit more shopping on Main Street including the Confectionary to get some treats for the plane and to take home to the kiddos!
After our little shopping trip we stopped to watch these guys for a minutes

Of course, weve seen them before but weve never seen them with those neat instruments theyre holding! They gave them a little shake and they made a really cool sound, honestly I cant remember what!
On our way out we stopped to take a few pictures of my favorite WDW halloween decorations,

Then it was back to CR to claim our luggage, change into our warm clothes for the plane and wait for the car to pick us up!
We were off to the airport, in no time and after an uneventful trip through airport and flight home we were greeted at the airport by MIL, FIL and 3 very happy kids!!! Of course, they wanted to know what we had brought them
