Hello all! I've decided to start my Pre-Trip Report a mere 43 days out.

I've never done a PTR or TR of any sorts, so bear with me.

When: Leaving our home in Oklahoma via car on May 12th and driving to Disney World for a vacation starting May 13 through May 21.

Why: Anniversary trip, long overdue vacation, and a First (redo) trip for all those involved.

Who: Me, Kayleigh. I am a full time student working on my degree in Early Childhood Education. I've been married to my amazing husband, Leigh, for 6 years and have a 4 year old daughter, Lily. Im a kid at heart. I love Disney (duh!), Harry Potter, Doctor Who, and all things nerdy. I am looking forward to the World Showcase at Epcot (England!).

Husband, Leigh. DH works for a Casino and is a full time student hoping to pursue things in the IT field. Like, I he is a devout nerd and lover of all things geeky. He loves Batman and Pixar movies. He is really looking forward to Star Wars Weekend.

Daughter, Lily. Lily is four years old, and will be starting Pre-K this fall, I'm holding back tears:sad: . She loves the princess' and has a major crush on Jake. Her two favorite shows are Jake and the Neverland Pirates and Doc Mcstuffins. She is looking forward to Character Meetings and tons of sweets.

Okay, so here is the back story on why this is mainly a a first/redo trip: In 2009, DH and I were planning a trip to London for March 2010. I've wanted to go there for so long, and was almost there. February 2010, our car blows up, cutting funds to less than half. Our flights were nonrefundable and we decided to go to Florida last minute with the tickets. Mind you, I had no idea what I was doing, no plans, nothing! We took DD to Universal one day and then Disney the next. The day we went to Disney, DD became very sick and we left after just one hour at the Magic Kingdom. She didn't get to ride anything, buy anything, or see any characters. I was so heartbroken for her. I told myself, the next vacation would be a full week of Disney. I would do the research, make the plans, and pour every bit of my time into it. And here we are!

We are staying at the Art of Animation in the Little Mermaid room. DH and I went back and forth on this for several weeks, I wanted POR and he wanted POFQ, but DD declared her love for LM and she of course won.

When it came to ADR, I did a lot of reading and browsed tons of reviews. I feel pretty happy with what I got, and I mostly look forward to seeing my DH and DD's reaction to them.
