first ps and GREAT experience!

hi! Just wanted to Post I made my first PS at CM today at 8 am for 28 Sept and the CM WAS SOOOO NICE!!! I love all those gals(all have been ladies for me) on the other end...she was just chatting up a storm and I said "CM 28 Sept 6 to 7 any time..." she said "GOOOD GIRL!" you are on this, you must be a veteran, I said "only of the Dis, I do my research!!" She says "I can tell!" anyway she recommends a few places as they are already on my list how cool am I??? she has a dd around the same age as my oldest and she gives me tips and such...anyway she checks for CRT for the 28th cause I want the 29th lunch and she says it is totally booked...that is 9 am Fl time today...so I am going to be up at 5 am tomorrow calling for our PS at CRT!! It is almost like being in Vegas, wanting that jackpot, you know?? Anyway just wanted to share that she (Sasha) was amazing and I am keeping a note of all the great CM's that help me and plan to write thank you's to Disney to honor them, even if they get tossed in the trash!! I mean these gals are GREAT on the other end...they talk to me like friends! If our Poly stay is as good as the phone calls, I am in for a treat!! I love excellent service, not butt kissing service but service where people want to help you and like the job they do...it is so great. Anyway sooo sorry this is long but am so EXCITED about my first ever WDW dinner at CM!!!!

We'll be at Chef Mickey's that night too, just a little earlier My TA told me that she needed to make ARs there for 3 other clients besides us, all for the same time, so she jokingly asked if we all wanted a table for 16

Good luck on CRT tomorrow! I didn't think the lunch was as hard to get, but maybe the word is out now. We hope to book 10/2.

i just got crt for lunch for 9/26. I started calling early early early and I still was on hold for what seemed like forever! I got the 12:05 lunch spot so I would say it's easy to get. I wasn't sure though. Good luck to you.

By the way, when I called she said she could get me the 2:25 spot. I was a little disappointed but figured I'd take it. (by 2:25, my dd would be asleep in her mac n cheese!) then when she went to confirm it, she said ok, I've got you set up for Sunday at 2:25. "NO! Not Sunday!" (not rudely or anything) and then when she pulled up Monday she got us the 12:05 slot. So I'd say you'll do ok.

We just didn't want breakfast and the lunch menu sounds pretty good. Good luck and let us know how it goes.

I've been calling daily for a few days now, and all the CM's on the other end have been so nice. That means a lot when I'm barely coherent at 4 am or 6 am my time lol!

I called and got Anges Claire (she said "go ahead and laugh at my name, I do!" LOL) and she was AWESOME!!!!!!!!! She made other recommendations, told us where the good seats were, etc. I wrote her name down so when I get back I can email Disney about all the great CMs we encounter and she will be first on my list!

I'm somewhat of a night owl and I love my early morning sleep. BUT...this week I've been up every day bright and chipper to call at 6:58. I am very thankful that I live on the East Coast! So far I've gotten all the times and places I've wanted including CRT. I've got one more day to go. The CMs have been very nice and friendly each morning.

In responce to the praise letters...

Don't think that they throw them in the garbage.

We sent one about the CM who helped us plan our honeymoon last year. She was wonderful!!! We actually got to meet her when we went because she had moved from GF concierge to GF front desk. I had sent the letter before we went because I knew she was moving - but didn't know where within the company or outside. She said she had seen it and they had placed it in her file. A couple of months ago, she emailed (its like family now) and told us that she had recieved a special pin reserved for CM who get praise - the You Make the Magic pin.

So they do read them, and good things can happen. It is a good way of giving back a little pixie dust.
