First Post - Leaving on Saturday!!!

Hi everyone!

I have been lurking for a while and this is my first post! I really enjoy seeing everyone's pics and learning new things everyday on the disboards. My hubby and I are leaving in 2 days for our second trip to the world and we are wondering if The Living Seas in EPCOT is open right now? We were there in Sept. last year and it was closed to our dismay. Thanks!!

Welcome to the DIS, GoBucks! We're glad you 'upgraded' from lurker to member!

Living Seas is open, but you'll only find the displays (various aquarium-type encounters), a Kidcot Station and Turtle Talk with Crush, a preschooler-oriented attraction (worth seeing...it's pretty cool!).

Most of the pavilion is still 'under construction', with some new elements due (overdue) to open when 'technical difficulties' are resolved.

So the answer is Yes...and no.

Also, welcome to the Disboards! I am waving to you over here in Westerville. My hubby and I also leave on Saturday from Port Columbus to meet the mouse. Where are you staying?

Hey GoBucks! We are leaving tomorrow from Delaware, OH (we're practically neighbors!). We are leaving MGM early on Saturday to watch the game. I can't wait!

I haven't packed anything yet either!! I thought I was the only one who stayed up the night before a big trip....I can't sleep anyhow might as well pack all night.

We are staying at radisson resort parkway since we can't really afford to stay onsite yet....looking forward to it though.

It will be MGM on Sat. afternoon/early evening and then off to meet the OSU alumni club of central Florida at BW3s for the game!!!! I am planning on wearing my buckeye necklace to the park on that day too. It was hard to choose between disney and the bucks, but I think we came up with a good compromise!

I think September is by far the best time to go to disney, last year we practically walked on every ride in all parks. We're really looking forward to riding EE for the first time since we were just teased by them building it last year.

zuzu: our flight leaves at 8:15 sat morning, maybe you'll be there early too??
