Hello to all! This is my FIRST POST, and I'm excited to be here.
As my name implies, I've been a fan of Walt Disney World since 1975, which is the first time I got to visit the Magic Kingdom, when I was 10. Since then, I've been to WDW a total of 7 times, and my 8th trip is going to be this September! I'm so excited! I just had to join the forum so I could vent this excitement.
I'm a 46 year old guy, and I have wonderful memories of that first trip that my parents took me on back in 1975. They won HUGE COOLNESS points for that trip! I was recently checking out some old home movies and was happy to see footage of 20,000 Leagues and Mickey Mouse Revue, two of my favorites that aren't there anymore. All time favorite is Haunted Mansion, no doubt about it! Love it, love it, love it!!
Pirates of the Caribbean and Tower of Terror make up the top 3. 
I'm excited for my September trip because my birthday is that week! I've never been away on a vacation for my birthday, and I can't think of a better place to be.
My girlfriend and I are staying at Caribbean Resort, we stayed there 2 years ago. Our trip includes 5 days at Disney parks, 1 day at Universal and one day at the pool/Downtown Disney. I was in Universal last year for the opening of Harry Potter, but the line was 10 hours long so I never made it in. Excited about that too, since I'm a big Harry Potter fan.
Anyway, I'm excited to be here, and excited that my next WDW vacation is less than 6 weeks away. I love being able to meet and talk WDW with other like minded people.
I still have stuff that I bought on that 1st trip in 1975 including a cool Randotti skull, Pirates of the Caribbean pieces of 8 coins, Mickey buttons, and I recently bought a replacement Mickey tray (original was stolen!) I recall that Bicentennial parade way back then... ahhh... to be 10 again. Wait, in 41 days I'll get to be a kid again! Woo hoo!

Hello Mike. Glad you are getting to go back soon. I am a huge fan if Disney. I hope my kids feel the same way about Disney when they are older as you do! Well, I just hope they appreciate that we try to have a fabulous family trip that is not just for grown ups. That's what I was trying to say.
