UGH. We leave WDW on the 22nd. That stinks I was so hoping we'd meet her!

I would love to see Tiana, but I also wanted to see the characters from Up! I was so disappointed to hear that someone said that the Up! characters will be replaced at the end of October by G-Force characters.

As far as I know, there are no plans for the G-Force characters to appear in the parks. And even if there were, they wouldn't be replacing the UP characters in the Animation Building. The Magic of Disney Animation is meant to highlight Disney's animated movies. And while the guinea pigs in G-Force are computer animated, the movie itself is live action.

Just curious. I though she had to be officially crowned at Disney World before she is anointed a Princess. I guess they are skipping that for this character.

Oh I do hope they'll do the music/show in WDW Frontierland. That sounds really neat & an interesting addition to the entertainment...I love Woody's Roundup, but heck, I know the song "Hey Howdy Hey" frontwards and backwards now

And on the dress, I really like it but it does look a tad more bulky than other princess's dresses. They can always take it down a notch in the future though.

I think it would be great if they add her to some or all of the princess meals.

Her dress looks much too big to navigate through the tiny spaces in CRT and Norway. If it's as big as Belle's (or bigger) then I would not count on her doing rotations in the restaurants. Unless they completely redid the gown.

Is there another (smaller) costume from the movie that she could wear for the breakfast? Does Belle wear her gold ballgown of the blue dress? I hope they add her to the princess rotation in Toon Town.

I am so thrilled that Disney finally has an African American princess. I also love the New Orleans theme. So cool!

When Belle is greeting diners at Akershus in Norway, she's in her yellow gown. If Belle is visiting guests at their table in either Akershus or CRT, she wears her blue dress.

I agree, adding Tiana to the Princess Room in Toontown would be fabulous!

I believe Belle wears the yellow dress in the toontown hall of fame as well. she also wore it during her storytime at the pirates and princess parties. in all other cases (aside from akershus), it's the provincial dress.

If the dates are right we'll get to see her. I love the design of her dress but also wish the green was deeper. We will be getting to Disney on the 25th so I can imagine if we decide to wait in line for her it will be quite a long one.

Disney does an awesome job of recreating the characters look. Hairstyle, dress style and even her pose. I really wish we were going to be there.

If she has one then it's just up to Disney to pay the money to make it for her. All of the princesses have their 'rags' dresses but you never see them in it.

Unless they make TT bigger, they will have to take out Cindy, Belle, or Aurora to add Tiana. I suppose it will depend on her popularity and how well the movie does. I think that she will be in a separate location for a bit since they might have other characters from the movie out with her.

I remember the first time we met Belle in the MK and she was in her blue. I really wanted to see the gown! In 2004, she didn't make appearances in the park in her big gown. I was surprised to find her out in yellow at Disneyland the following year. She even made rounds at the Princess lunch at Disneyland in her big yellow gown. Once you get used to the hoop skirts, it's not as hard as you think to get around.....

I wonder if on her first day out they'll start her day with an official crowning ceremony-I understand that is what they've done in the past on a princesses debut day.

I can confirm that there will be a show in Frontierland, just like the one at DL. It's not really a big secret, as others as announced it already.

There was some confusion because DL casts people for each specific show (which is why the had auditions for their show). However, WDW is global so if you are hired then you may be in the party patrol at DAK one day and dancing in the trolley the next. So WDW will cast their show from their internal performers.

I hope it starts that day - at least a meet and greet maybe - DD is so excited for this movie! I showed her the picture today and she loved her!

I'm sure it has something to do with that. But Belle DOES make rounds at the princess character meal at Ariel's Grotto in California Adventure. Before that, she made rounds at the Plaza Inn Disneyland.....
