First of June vacation, Does anyone else feel cheated?

When we booked in December, I was gleeful and full of excitement. Predictions, pr, omotions, and podcasts pointed to several new attractions. I never thought that all would come to be, but I thought maybe one or two. Rivers of Light, New Soarin, Frozen Norway, Star Wars Launch Bay, and a new Star Wars fireworks show. Of these, if I have it right, only Star Wars Launch Bay will be open in June. I really do love Disney, however, the same old thing year after year is a bit much. I am wishing we had planned Disneyland instead. At least then I would have something new to look forward to. Help me, Help me recover that enthusiasm. Since last June what is new and will inspire me to not cancel. (This doesn't include the expensive new add on's to see old stuff.)
Joy and Sadness, The Jungle Book:Alive with Magic, Star Wars stage show, Star Wars Symphony in the Sky, Star Wars Launch Bay with Kylo Ren and Chewbacca, and possibly more- hope that helped.

I guess I'm the minority...my attititude is..it's Disney...I'm excited anyway!...we only go every 2-3 years and never see all there is to see by far so it's special to us and we just go with the flow and see what we can see. And then come home and start planning next time!

My attitude exactly. I only get to go every few years, and daggum it I'm doing to Disney World!

We will be there June 4-11. I'm hoping everyone decides to push back their vacations until things open. Less crowded for me!!:rotfl2:

But yeah, I wish all the new stuff was going to be open. Especially since this will be our last trip for the next 5+ years. But it's Disney World!! We're going to have a ton of fun anyways. New rides will be icing on the cake.

I'd really like to have our FP set up soon though. I'm kind of just waiting to finalize Epcot and AK just in case things change. And I really need the Princess FP at MK to start back up soon. I don't even care which ones, I just need to secure a visit with a princess for my 2 1/2 year old. princess:

I can live without Soarin. We weren't expecting to see it anyway, so it's fine. I'm not worried about Star Wars fireworks. But I am extremely frustrated that they won't give us a daggone date for the Frozen stuff. I have two little girls who want to meet Anna and Elsa, I can't get Fastpasses at MK but they won't say if they'll be at Epcot, I want to figure out if I need to change my Epcot days around and, if so, I want to be able to switch my other Fastpasses. I will be extremely disappointed if we miss the new Frozen ride. I really did think we were in the clear with that when they said "Spring 2016." And I was honestly just angry yesterday when they said June but no specific date. I'm sick of so much of my planning feeling up in the air.

If you want to see Anna and Elsa at MK I suggest rope drop. I think Frozen is opening May 27th, but construction seems to be going extremely well with the meet n greet area, so maybe that'll open early. Just stay on the lookout! And also, this is NOT the only Frozen activity! In HWS, there is a Frozen singalong show with Anna, Elsa, and Kristoff and some original characters too! I've also heard Olaf is on his way to HWS, don't know the date though or if it's open already, haven't stayed updated on that.

I hope we can meet Olaf, because my girls want to do that too. But the reason we can't get Fastpass in MK isn't because they're all out, but because they were never available, I would assume because they're moving to Epcot. But if they know what date that is happening, I wish they would tell us. I think it's annoying to have to plan Fastpasses at 60 days out, but have so many things up in the air. I want to get my Fastpasses set and be done.

Oh no, they're still at MK!!! I went there last Saturday and sure enough, there stood their hour and a half wait. Anyway, if you don't get to see them at MK or Epcot, GO TO THE SINGALONG IMMEDIATELY!!! Elsa has an amazing entrance, Kristoff's only appearance, they play Let it Go a few times, and I learned if you yell 'puddle' in the gap in the Olaf song, one of the characters will react hilariously(maybe). Also, Anna is there and they spray 'snow'(little bubbles of soap and stuff)at the end and it's magical for little ones and a must do.

If you feel cheated before even going, I actually recommend going somewhere else, instead.

Update on Olaf! It said he'll be there in spring...so I'm thinking there's a chance he'll show up.

Last park day is June 14th. Soarin is the only thing I would be sad to miss. Hopefully the old one is running.

I can't understand why people go every year. There's a whole country and even world to see....... go every 3-5 years and there will always be new things.

Thank you for seeing this thread as what it was intended. I didn't even know about the Jungle Book Alive and do you know for sure the Star Wars Fireworks will start the first week. Thank you.

Because we can. Jealous. I can be snippy too. I just needed a boost to get me excited about why I love going so much. And if you would like to know, I have visited 49 states, 36 countries and 6 continents. I would have made it to Antarctica if it hadn't been for early pack ice.

I'm not sure if you knew what I meant by Star Wars fireworks, but they already have a different kind called Symphony in the Sky, which are fireworks synced to Star Wars' majestic soundtrack!
