First Night where to go?

When we arrive I can't decide where to go for dinner. I want to go to Disney Quest for the DH and shop in Downtown Disney, but according to the meal plan the only TS choices that I have will be Cap'n Jack's, Planet Hollywood, of WGP Cafe. I haven't heard good things about WGP Cafe and am unsure about Cap'n Jack's and as it is our Honeymoon I want the first dinner to be a little nicer then PH. What are the opinions. I was thinking maybe to not eat in DD and either go to the Cinderella Happily Ever After at 4:30 or to Spoodles at Boardwalk. I would love opinions HElP! If this was your first night which would you pick and why?

My first night later this year in July i made a ADR for Raglan Road. I went last year and thought the food was fantastic. A great way to start off a vacation.

That's where I wanted to go but hasn't Disney taken it off the meal plan?

Just got off the phone with a dining CM, confirmed that it is still on the dining plan. Scared me for a bit there.

We went to Raglan Road in Nov 2007 on the DDP and loved it. If it's still on the plan, my suggestion is to go there. If you like live music, make a later reservation so you can see the band play. They're fantastic.

Another suggestion would be the Rose and Crown in Epcot and hope for a table outside for Illuminations!

Thank you for your replies....we have decided I think to eat lunch at Rose and Crown the day we go to Epcot and I can't wait. After looking at menus and once he heard the word Buffet the future DH wants to go to the Cinderella dinner at 1900 Park Fair the first night then go over to Downtown Disney. So now that this settled what are the experiences from here. I have only ever gone there for breakfast and the last time was in 2000 so its been awhile. Picture would be great as well if you have them. Was the food good?:
