First Night Dinner in Epcot

Wow so many great ideas, now I have to decide! I have a couple of weeks before my ADR day Thanks so much!

Spice Road Table, and if you plan it right, you can watch the fireworks from the patio. Best meal I had at WDW last trip, and we ate some tasty meals. Great service too!

I think Biergarten is definitely the most FUN, but Chefs is nice too. I think the food is decent, not great, but it's very pretty inside. I've never thought it screamed "fun" though.

This is what I'm trying to decide on. As of now I have a reservation for Rose & Crown for 7:40 PM. Fact is I have more than one reservation for R&C on this trip. We arrive at MCO around 2:10 PM so hoping to do EPCOT since it's open late that night. I've also considered Tokyo Dining for the first night as I've always wanted to try it. There seems to be plenty of availability but wondering if Illuminations can be viewed from there?

Rose and Crown! Get a reservation close to Illuminations and they seat you on their patio or take you to their private viewing area. It's the best view of Illuminations!

You can kind of see Illuminations from inside Tokyo Dining. There are some tables right up against the windows, but people will likely be outside on the deck watching Illuminations and probably blocking your view of what's going on on the water at least.
