Hi, everyone! I have a quick question. We finally booked our Disney honeymoon. The wedding is May 13th in our hometown, and then Sunday morning we will drive down to Disney. Here's the question, May 14th is Mother's Day and I was wondering if I should be calling soon to make a reservation for dinner that night? We decided to get the Dining plan and I dont want to miss out on some really nice restaurants because we did not make reservations in enough time. Will we be able to get reservations so late? I hoped we would because attendance should not be ridiculous at that time in May. At least, it wasnt bad at Universal in early may a couple years back, so I assumed Disney is the same.
Also, any suggestions on restaurants to try? The only restaurants I have tried at Disney are at Downtown, like PlanetHollywood, House of Blues and Rainforest Cafe (not a good experience there) and all the little counter service places in the park. My fiance and I visited last summer for the first time since we both were kids and did not realize that you have to have a reservation for pretty much any table service restaurant that is in the parks. Very disappointing! I dont want to make that same mistake, but we are always last minute decision makers.
Thanks so much!!
