First MVMCP was last night, anyone have a report?

Add my family to those that will be there on Friday night. I'm so excited!!! We leave on Thursday, and I told my dh that I wanted to do the Osborne Lights at MGM on Thursday since we'll be at the party on Friday. We have been pass holders for a few years now and go every 6 weeks or so, but we've never done MVMCP. I'm hoping to get our Santa Hats made before we leave (Minnie for me and Princess ones for my girls). My Dh just doesn't get it and doesn't want one. Oh well..... I need to get back to my sewing machine. I just wanted to see if I could find any reports.

We had a great time! This was our 1st time, so I wasn't really sure what to expect. I couldn't have asked for a more festive time. xmas music everywhere. There were lots of people, but we only waited about 5 mins for any ride. Some rides we rode 3x in a row. We saw scrooge mcduck @ donald's tree farm. (he and donald duck switched every 30 mins) We also saw tigger and piglet across from pooh's honeypot ride. (they switched with pooh and eyeore every 30 mins) In Toontown, the princesses were @ the hall of fame. We also saw Snow White, Beauty and the Beast and lots of other characters. We waited about 10-15 mins to see the characters. They had dance party's all over the place and the kids could dance with the characters. The lines were not long for the hot chocolate and cookies. We got plastic cards to get 50% off our photopass photos from last night. The shows were very Christmassy (is that a word?) The parade was cool and the fireworks were amazing.

I'm not sure how this compares to last year because this was our 1st time, but we are looking to go back.

We leave tomorrow morning and will be at the party Friday night. Our first. I am so excited I can't stand it. I can't believe after 6 months of planning we are leaving in less then 24 hours!!!

Sounds awesome and sounds like lots of characters, were all the characters that were out dancing, were they doing photos and autographs too? Just curious??

Zack'sMommy, it sounds like you guy's had an awesome time! I can't wait my mom and I only have another 21 days to go and then we will be on our way! We are going to the party for the first time on Dec.7!!!!!

What kinda of special merchandise did you see for sale, for MVMCP? I know about the pins, but I was wondering if they have t-shirts, plush, picture frames, etc.

For those of you there last night, could you post the show times? I'm very curious to see if they changed the times because of the 7:00 park closing. Speaking of that, did they clear the park well? It sounded like it wasn't much of an issue for the Halloween party.

Did they let people in at 4:00 to get party bracelets? What happened to the non-participants?

Yeah it's the last day but it's the only day I have available to go.

We'll be there Friday night too! Leaving for Nashville at 5:00 tonight, then hop a plane at 7:00 am then at EPCOT by 11 or so I hope!!!

My family will be there Friday too. Gee, with so many people here alone saying that they will be there, I wonder if that is indicative of what kind of crowd to expect. We were hoping to beat the Thanksgiving crowd by arriving on Thursday. I guess others had the same idea!

This thread has made me even more excited for our (Me, DH, & DD14) 1st mvmcp on friday 11/17 also. We leave thursday night, we can't wait.
