First MVMCP was last night, anyone have a report?

We will be there Friday, too!!!!! I just packed our matching Christmas sweaters to wear at the MVMCP. I can't believe after all these months of planning the day is almost here!!!! We arrive on Thursday and I am just about to jump out of my skin. I have a grin from ear to ear (my jaw is actually hurting from grinning so much)! I know some people ask me if I ever get tired of Disney and I have to tell them every trip is just like the first time... only better!!!!!!!! See ya'll there!

Count me in as a first timer for Fri. 11/17. I checked today and the latest forecast is for high of 72 and low of 48 degrees. Sis and I jokingly were calling the event " Mickey's Very Chilly Christmas Party". Hey were Floridians, what can I say? It's supposed to rain on Thurs. then be sunny for the weekend. Keep your fingers crossed. Wishing everyone a ton of fun.

I am hoping for some reports reports before I leave for WDW tonight! How do you think the crowds will be on Friday? I am hoping that they won't be too bad, because it is one of the first parties. My DD3 is so excited. She keeps telling everyone that she is going to have hot cocoa and cookies at the Christmas Party. I hope that everyone has a great time!

The place was beautiful and packed. A woman in guest relations said they were not expecting such a big crowd. The atmosphere was beautiful. Snow on Main St, so beautiful. Festive Christmas music. The Hot Chocolate and the sugar cookies were delicious.

YOAMD in effect, we got reserved seating on the bridge and given Christmas hats. DS got stitch and I got Mickey!

The fireworks were beautiful. The Grand Finale featured fireworks surrounding you. There were fireworks swirling off the castle! Snowflakes on the castle, nut crackers. The colors matched the song they were playing, ex; green for Christmas tree, red for Santa etc.. Tinker Bell fly out of the castle.

It was my last night if Florida. We went out with a bang! Hope you all enjoy. This is worth your money and time!

It was funny to see Charleyann's comment about the park being packed! We thought it was empty.....though, it did seem like many/most were there for the party-unique events. We spent alot of time riding rides with no wait!

We've gone in past years and found some nights to be much busier, but, as usual, a good time was had by all!
