First MVMCP (30th, Sunday) or the 2nd ( 2nd, Tuesday) ?

I've read on other posts that Sunday nights are usually the least crowded, than Tues, than Thurs, than Fri. Does this hold true for the very first Sunday night though? so close to the Thanksgiving holiday?

We are able to chose from the first four parties this year so we have options. I'm leaning towards Tues. but going on Sunday would be a great way to kick off the week. Looking for opinions , thanks.

Sunday was good for us, but we weren't there the end of thanksgiving week. It could be crowded if people come for Thanksgiving and then stay for a week after. Or people may have to get home for work and leave on Sunday.

A tough call...just keep in mind that ticket sales are limited so it can't get too crowded.

Did anyone attend the first MVMCP last year? I'd love to hear your views. Which MVMCP we pick to attend will determine if we stay Sat-Sat versus Sun-Sun that first week of Dec. If DH could get Mon. the 8th off we would go Sun. night of the 7th, but we have to be back home Sun.

I'm a red head Now to your question,I would advise Tuesday since Sunday is during hoilday weekend and first MVMCP.We have been on Sunday before and it wasn't to crowded.We've attended MVMCP on every different day it was held over the years.We are attending our 23rd MVMCP on 12/9/03 this year.It has been our experience that Tuesday followed by Thursday are the days to attend to encounter smaller crowds.Have a great vacation and a great time at MVMCP which ever date you choose.

We went to the first MVMCP last year. We are also going again this year. We extend our Thanksgiving trip just to do the MVMCP. I didnt think the crowds were bad for the first one last year. We lined up 20 minutes early for the first parade and there was only one row of people behind us. I dont have anything to compare it to, but I didnt think it was too bad.

Do what we are doing.... Go to BOTH of them! We are going to both of them, and I can't wait! I plan on buying matching Tshirts the first night and then wearing them in our pic for the second night. Also we will focus on the parade, fireworks on one night, and then on the shows the other. Whatever you decide, I hope you have a great time!

Danny- from one redhead to another - thanks (my tag is meant to suggest the pirates want me though ). Thank-you all for your advice. Sounds as though sunday would be fine but I'll hold out for Tues. We went on Tues. night last year and loved it, it wasn't too crowded for us, we didn't get rained on......... I just read in a few places that Sunday nights were the best and wanted to double check on that.
