First mid-week arrival today around 3...advise?

We generally arrive on Thursday nights, so we are rather excited to get to the resort around 3pm today. We are staying at VGC, and will probably grab a quick late lunch/early dinner at Naples before doing anything else.

Suggestions on which park/what we should take advantage on on a Wednesday night that might be a good thing considering the assumed lesser crowds?

Can't help about your park question, but my son and his family recently returned from a 4-day visit to DLR. The one restaurant they recommend avoiding is Naples- overpriced for uninspired food.
