DH and I and my cousin were there last year and loved it (no waterside, but not in front of restrooms either! Totally don't blame you for that!). We're heading there (and Napa Rose) again in a few weeks...first seating, so hopefully we'll get waterside this time! And hopefully there will be potatoes!

I'm already missing the cookie boats!

I understand that many people very much love the BB, but I for one have never enjoyed it. It's a nice relief from the summer sun, but I have found that I enjoy the menu and service over at Cafe Orleans SO much better! I am a BIG fan of the Monte Cristo and our bill was 1/2 that of the BB so if you like the food head across the Rue and go to Cafe Orleans! This is of course just one Disney Lovers opinion

Sorry to hear your bad experience. We had our first time there at the beginning of March. I was so excited to go and we did get a waterside table. Overall, it was a pleasant enough experience, but it was dark and there was a smell inside. The service was also slow, we had all our meals picked out before the waitress got there. And when our meals came, she had 2 wrong (we were only 2 adults and 3 kids...). The food was Ok, but not good enough for us to go back again.

My experience was similar to yours. We had a table right by the kitchen doors which was annoying to listen to the sounds of the kitchen rather then night time sounds of BB and POTC, it was very crowded and we'd already waited close to an hour and we were hungry and weren't willing to wait any longer. The service was a bit slow and our waiter disappeared after he brought the food and didn't return, I had to flag someone down to get the check. But the food was great! I love the Monte Cristo but seeing as how I can get that for a few dollars less at Cafe Orleans, I've really had no desire to go back to BB.
Oh, and it would annoy me to have chairs taken from the table. I don't know why, it's not rational to want them if I'm not using them but darn it, it just bugs me when they take chairs away!
