First long stay as DVC owners, need some help about PAP

Hello all,
I will be going to AKV in July for 11 nights. We are doing a split with the last 3 nights at BLT because my kinds really wanted to stay there, anyway, my sister and her family are also going with us so we got a value 2 bed at Jumbo . I'm debating about getting the regualr AP or the PAP. I'm going to try and schedule ut next year's vacation( God willing) maybe for June so we can use them again.
I'm going to call back to get our days split so I can use the DP 9 out of the 11 nights and that way get abut 3 nigths of the deluxe one and then 5 of the DP and 1 QS. I thinking get the first cups when we arrive and then with with the QS again at BLT.
I have some questions.
1. Are the cups all the same at all the resorts?
if they are, maybe just sae the new ones for gifts.
2. Is the premier really worth it? my son 14 y/0 and my daughter 8 really want to go to the water parks, this is our third trip and the second one as DVC owners. They also want to go to the Disney quest.
3. What are the discounts with the AP lets say for alcohol drinks and gifts? and can we use it when we eat dinner using the dining plan and then use it for the drinks?
can u use it when you go to Epcot if you buy beer or those really great adult orange slushes?
or do I need to buy the TIW?
we usually like to have a drink or two with sit down dinners and when at Epcot the DH likes to try the different beers from different places, (hey we are not driving and we work very hard to take this type of vacations )!
Any help will be appreciated!

1. The cups are the same resort wide.
2. If you go to the water park more than 2 times you would be saving money over buying just water park tickets.
3. There is no discounts for alcohol drinks with the AP, you would need to buy an TIW card for that and you can use it with the DDP.

I don't think the TIW card gets you a discount on the slushies from the kiosk (could be wrong, and I'll be disappointed if I am b/c I didn't try, but since it's not listed...). Nor for beers from random places; you'd need to go to the places mentioned on the list they'll give you (an almost comprehensive list (they missed Sanaa on it) is on wdwinfo.com).

If you'll be going to the parks on enough days that an AP makes sense, and if you will be going ot the waterparks and DQ to an extent that a PAP makes sense, get it!
