tuesday I got a call from work saying that there was no work avialable for July. This through me for a curve because July is usually our busy season. However, I last night I decided that this was the perfect time to go to WDW. I called this morning, booked POP with an AP discount for nine nights (I even have the room number that has been allocated to me), booked a flight with United, called to make reservations at a Seattle hotel with parking privilages and have even made all my Disney dinner reservations. This was the smoothest booking with WDW that I have ever done.
So as of today on 41 days until WDW.

Congratulations on your upcoming trip! I have never heard of receiving a room number before check in. Very unusual.

Congratulations--doesn't it feel good when all the pieces fall into place! If you've never gone in July, be prepared for the heat (minimal makeup, get a nice haircut that requires little maintenance, throw in a few hats for "bad hair day") and buy a couple rain ponchos to take along with you. Each day there can be a downpour in a park-- we lovingly call them "park clearers"--and only those of us brave enough with ponchos slog through them to get into almost any attraction without a wait!! With 2 teens now, we do the days upside down in that we sleep late, lounge around the resort pool and relax until about 11am. then head to a park for our lunch PS and stay at the park until closing. Parks after dark are just fabulous :flower: We love going in June/July. I hope you will too. :earsgirl: :earsboy: :earsboy: :earsgirl:
