I really like your itinerary, plenty of time for relaxing, and some great meal choices, you will have a great time:thumbsup2

Seems like a good plan, shame you cannot visit US/IOA as they are 2 of my favourite parks although it would be too much overall I feel - so you are probably right.

Like the idea of plenty of rest days.

The only thing I would say is personally Magic Kingdom is far and away the best Disney park, in my opinion anyway, so 1 day there would not be enough I feel.

Looks like a great plan ~ visiting the parks and plenty of rest days.

Where were you thinking about eating before MNSSHP?

What days are what as some aprks tend to eb alot bus on certain days than otehrs esp if EMH or weekend.

Claire ;)

I would change my second day at MGM to MK as there is more there, also you have said that you are not going to do the waterparks but maybe on a rest day they would be nice place to relax in. :)

I would double check on the Brits Guide website which days are quietest and just check you are not hitting the parks on a busy day. It makes all the difference believe me.

I cannot remember whether you have been before but I would say that Magic Kingdom may require more than one day if you want to do every single ride. The 3 mountain rides are the busier and are best tackled first thing. We have always thought the crowd levels in the Fantasyland section are busy.

I would echo Johnny and say it is a shame you are not doing Universal or Islands. Universal is the family favourite. In Islands we always have such a good laugh on Popeye's ride we would never want to miss that.

Claire, I would also allow at least one more day for Magic Kingdom, especially with your DD's age. We ended up going there 4 times (albeit the last time was only half a day)!

We didn't do Universal either last time ~ it gives you a good excuse to go back!:goodvibes

Thank you for your comments.
we are not doing US or IOA this time however we plan to do them in 2008, and do less Disney when we are more familiar with Disney. I am try to make to less overwhelming for a first visit and see what DD can cope with.

I used Tour Guide Mike to work out the least busy days.

We will probably go to Magic Kingdom, on the MNSSHP day in the moring and then return in the after noon, we can also visit on days we have nothing planned if DD has rides and attractions that she still wants to go on, a lot ADRs are at resorts which should allow us to be more felixble.

On MNSSHP we will eat counter service as we will have a couple of DDP credits to use up.

Changed MGM to MK.

Thanks again.:)

we didn't do us/ioa on our 1st visit either :) we are going to both this year tho :thumbsup2

your plan looks great  not long now

Hi, I am now going with my mum and she wants to go shopping, spend a morning at a water park and go to IOA and US for a day.
Any advice on fitting it in?

Day 12 sounds ideal for a morning at a water park we did this in 2004 before MNSSHP, as long as not weekend. Also how about shopping on day 7or 8 are they weekdays?

sounds like a good idea, MNSSHP is a friday.
day 7 & 8 are a sunday and monday, I was thinking of going shopping on one of the days and spending the other day at DTD as well as the resort.

We find shopping on a Sunday to be good and Monday at DTD should be quieter.

Claire ;)
