So sorry to keep ya'll waiting...it's been crazier than usual around here.
This was our last park day so we went to Hollywood Studios. Here we are leaving out for the bus stop.
Mom wasn't quite ready to leave but insisted on us going on and she would meet up with us later. My Dad was coming in this afternoon so we were not going to have all day to spend at the park. We had just arrived at HS when my cell phone rang and she was getting on the bus. That was quick for her!! I had already told Gage to choose TOT or RRC for me to ride because I wasn't riding both of them. I have severe motion issues and it doesn't take much for me to..well, we'll just say "get sick." Thankfully he chose RRC because I REALLY don't like TOT. I sent him on to ride TOT while Gretchen and I looked at pins and waited on Mom. By the time he was off, Grammy had arrived and we rode RRC.
We did a lot of window shopping at HS. Grammy tried to buy everyone in her county a Mickey ears hat, but I put my foot down with her. Another one of her "quirks" is she just loves to spend money. However, she is notorious for buying gifts and then not giving the gift to the people she buys it for. She probably has 10-15 wedding gifts for people that have already been divorced and remarried. I AM NOT KIDDING!!!!! I told her on this last trip to her house that when we get our camper, I am not buying a thing. I am just going to come to her house to stock it.
It was already time to eat lunch and this was the only meal we bought at the parks the whole week. We ate at the ABC Commissary. It was disgusting and I was sad that this was the only Disney food experience my Mom got, with the exception of ice cream and funnel cake. Not to mention we had a testy CM cleaning the tables. I 'bout had to break redneck on him too, but he settled down when I got smart (in a sweet way of course

). Then we decided to leave...with half of our food untouched because it was not edible. Bye-bye $35.
Next up was the Walt Disney tour.
I always have to go through this. It makes me feel like I really know Mr. Walt when I leave. I like to quote things that I've learned about him to my family (like they were not there) when we get back to TN. I know...I need medication.
About this time, my Dad calls to tell us he is at the camper. Also, it looks like a storm was coming so Grammy headed back to the camper and left us on our own.
Next, we went through the Narnia attraction. We had never seen that. It was nice. We circled around and did Star Tours and the Muppet 3-D show. We so badly wanted to ride TSM, but it had an 80 minute wait.
The kids were really wanting to get back to see Papa and ride the bikes, but not before riding RRC 2 more times. Gretchen rode with Gage the first time. They were jammin' when they got off.
Gretchen and I just waited on Gage the last time and a nice guy offered to take our picture.
After grabbing some chocolate and caramel covered popcorn, we were off to FW. (The popcorn was not all that great to us. The 3 of us decided we like $2 Crunch and Munch much better.)
Here are some of the pictures we took while Papa and Grammy were grilling steaks for us. I only transferred (I know the word is probably uploaded or downloaded, but you're dealing with a redneck here

) 100 pictures from my Kodak Easy Share Software to Photobucket. (Believe me when I say it was a miracle that I was even able to do that!) I might have to transfer more because I am noticing there are a lot of pictures I should have posted.
I can't remember if it was this night or the next night, but at one time, we counted 15 deer. It was a little eery...they were all over the place. We see deer all the time where we live, but never more than a couple at a time.
In honor of THE GREAT TCD:
This is old news by now, but while we were there, Loop 2000 was closed. Here is a picture of one of the sites.
