First Family trip to DISNEY!!!

Thanks! I will look into the passes.

What are the best shows? How long are most of them?

We really like the Sleeping Beauty show at HS - about 30 min I think. The Musical Nemo at AK is very good and the Lion King show - both about 30 min. (not too good remembering the lengths) We like Fantasmic (night) at HS but it is usually a long wait in line, plus can be a little frightening for some children. Mickey's Philharmagic is great at MK. They are mostly all good and we enjoy the rest and AC along with the shows. (Beauty & Beast Show is covered, but not AC) My advice is to buy, before you go, the mister fans from Walmart and keep them with you - they are life savers- and lots cheaper than in the parks  Have a great time :yay:.

We just were at Port Orleans French Quarter last week and they had a listing for pool activities there in the room.

You may get a booklet with different coupons or such in there with your reservation information. We received one and it had some free arcade credits, one free thing of miniture golf, free gift, $15 dining credit for Planet Hollywood, etc for your dates of travel.. It was our first time staying on site so I imagine it is something everyone gets but I don't really know.

Don't forget to stop by your resort before heading to any parks. They will give you the parking pass and with it if you drive to the parks, they just waive you in the gate so you don't have to pay the $14 a day. We drove ourselves to the parks. The whole estimate 1.5 hours to get anywhere within Disney was too much for us.

Remember you can bring in snacks / meals / drinks so if you can pack items for your child and yourselves to eat you will save funds there as well. We didn't do that this trip because I decided to splurge and get the dining plan. We bought one meal out of pocket because I didn't want to waste our deluxe dining on a counter service meal. It was almost $30 for two tiny kids meals and a chicken tender meal for my husband and I to share. Although in comparsion most of our sit down meals if we hadn't had the dining plan would have been well over $100 each.

Thanks for the info!

I will make sure to check out the activities list when we get there. Also it is good to know about the parking passes. I think we are planning on riding the bus, but we might do it one day and change our mind.

I do plan on taking some snacks with us into the park. With my little one just being 2, I think this will be very handy!

I love all the info from everyone!

Does anyone know anything about a Dance Party in DHS during EMH?

How about the campfire sing a long with Chip and Dale?
