Hello- this is my first pre-trip report. I have a large group coming with us. It is my family of 4 (myself, DH and DS 5 and DD 2), my parents and my sister's family of 4 and her in-laws. We will be staying off site at the Windsor Hills in a 3 bedroom townhouse with my parents. My sister is staying with her in-laws at their time share. At first I was sad that my sister wasn't staying with us but now I am okay with it because sometimes she can get a little stressed and I want this to be a great first experience for my family. I know I will be stressed too but I handle it a little different then she does :).

I have a Disney box (large Rubbermaid container) in my closet so that my kids & DH don't see everything I have purchase. I stopped showing my husband my good finds because he thinks I am going overboard. I can't wait for the hot/warm weather to be finally gone so that I can pack our suitcases. I purchased my kids Disney t-shirts for each day - for my daughter I bought princesses, fairies, Minnie and her favorite Sophia the First. For my son I bought superheroes, mickey, and Phineas and ferb. I have also purchased a few things people have suggested on the DISboards : ponchos (hoping to never open them), glow sticks, spray fans and small little gifts from random Disney characters that my kids will find each morning along with a note (thanks to Dee Hill's DISigns). I am almost done creating their autograph books thanks to all of the creative people on photobucket. Will post pictures later.

We arrive on a Wednesday (planned a 1:00 flight so that we wouldn't have to run around like crazy to get the airport). When we land we will head to the townhouse - I plan on using the excuse that I need to go to the bathroom and running in and putting a mickey and Minnie plush stuff animal on the kids bed with a welcome letter as a surprise. My DH and father will then go grocery shopping while we unpack and go swimming in the pool.

Thursday we are heading to Magic Kingdom (no ADR) for the day. Our first stop with be fantasyland :) Not sure which direction to head from there - any suggestions? I am planning on my kids needed at nap so we will head back to the townhouse and hopefully head back later that night.

Friday we will have breakfast at the Crystal Palace and then spending the day at Magic Kingdom.

Saturday we will be at the Tusker house for breakfast and the exploring Animal kingdom all day. I am hoping to stay there until 3 and then heading back to the townhouse. This is the night my DH are hoping to have an adult night out and heading to Epcot.

Sunday we are spending the day at Hollywood studios. Our number one things to do is to see Phineas & Ferb , Sophia and ride Toy story mania. Later that night we have dinner plans at the Hoop dee doo revue.

Monday - have to head home :(

You're plans sound good to me! I hope you get that night out, that would be so great!

My suggestion for Fantasyland would be head to Belle's Story Time first if that is what your kids want to see. Get there at rope drop and high tail it there. We went in January and I thought it wouldn't be a very busy time but it was and Belle was a long wait all day. It may be different when you go but that was my experience.
