First experience with an arm rest hog

I don't have a problem sharing the armrest but when the aisle and window seat passengers stretch their legs and arms into my space it really annoys me. I have politely asked them to move their leg and if they get annoyed I just ask them if they would like to reimburse me for a portion of my ticket...in essence...rent the space. It may sound rude but it usually fixes the issue... everyone needs to respect others personal space.
