Next on our tour was Puerto Rico,
here we had the Medianoche Sandwich, it was made with Roast Beef, Ham, Swiss and two kinds of Pickles. It was toasted and wonderful.
To drink we had the Bacardi Frozen Torched Cherry Colada, it was wonderful, the Cherry flavor was intense, it was very cold and refreshing, sweet and slushy.
Mexico was next
and we ordered the Tamal de Pollo, the masa was moist, the chicken was tender, flavorful and the tomatillo sauce was very nice.
We also ordered the Taco de Chilorio, the Chrizio was flavorful but very greasy, and I dropped the red/orange grease on my white shoe which really made me mad
To drink we got a Passion Fruit Frozen Margarita, it was 12oz which is 4 oz bigger than any other drink out there.
From here we detoured over to La Cava and decided to have the flight of tequila, the nice girl in the bar, told us the story and went over everything in the mural. She was very friendly and helped us to understand a lot, she brought over several types of tequila from behind the bar and brought us three different kinds to try and one had the tomato juice back, like the bloody Maria.
We ordered the guacamole, it was made fresh right when we ordered it and the chips were very crisp.
From there we headed to Poland,
we ordered Golabki (Pork Stuffed Cabbage), it was tender and tangy, but very greasy.
We also ordered Belvedere Strawberry Balsamic Chiller, it was like Frozen Strawberry Puree and Balsamic, the vinegar gave it a little bit of a bite.
Next stop was China, here we ordered the Black Pepper Shrimp with Sichuan noodles, the noodles were cooked very well, still tender but not mushy.
The shrimp were slightly over cooked, and chewy, cooked in a tempura batter.
We also had the Carmel Ginger Ice Cream, it was very good, with many chunks of the Ginger in the Ice Cream.
We stopped and watched the Chinese acrobats. They were really good as usual.
South Korea was next,
we ordered Lettuce Wraps with Roast pork and Kimchi Slaw, this meal was light, refreshing, with lots of ginger and sesame oil. We also ordered the Bohae Bokbunjajoo, which is a Black Raspberry Rice Wine, we liked the way this one tasted and was paired well for the slaw.
Next was South Africa,
we ordered the Seared Beef Tenderloin with Sweet Potato Puree and Mango Barbecue Sauce. The potato puree tasted like banana, I did not like it. The Beef tasted good, but was over cooked, and the sauce was tangy. Mostly it was not for us and we would not recommend it. It did not live up to last year.
Singapore was the next stop,
here we ordered the Coconut Braised Beef Rangdang with jasmine Rice, All I could say about this one was Extremely Dry and Yuck. Their other item was a shrimp cake which we opted to not get since it did not look good.
