Hey all...this is our first family trip to DW. I was told to get things ahead of time like Mickey ears, shirts, autograph books, and pens. Any suggestions on where to get these things without spending a lot? In terms of autograph books is there a certain one I should get. Our kids are 11-M, 9-F, 7-M, & 3-F. Also, should I just use a regular pen, do I need a skinny or fat marker?

Also, someone suggested panchos for some water rides? Any thoughts on that? We are going from November 18 to 23 so do you guys think it will be warm or cold??? I haven't been to Florida in about 12 years.

Any tips would be great.

One last one, someone told me about the Jedi Training Academy and that I need to get there at rope drop to sign my kids up. But they said when I get there to go a certain direction because everyone will be going to some new attraction. Any suggestions on that one?

Thanks!!!

Mike

Mike, congrats on your first trip!! :cool1: Nov. is a great time to go weather wise! Comfortable 70's to 80's and low humidity. As for ears and shirts, Disney has A LOT to choose from. Yes you could get them ahead of time and maybe save a little, but getting an authentic shirt right from the source is to us an exciting part of the trip! Having your Mickey ears monogrammed at MK is awesome! We got our daughter her autograph book before we went and found a spiral type book works great because you can open the book all the way. Sharpie type markers are nice-the autographs show up nicely but skip pages as they might bleed through! If you take ponchos get ones that fold up small-easier to carry! Sorry I can't help with the JEDI Training. Our friends' son did it in July and loved it! Have a magical time and be patient. DW is big and can be over whelming! Let your 3 y/o rest if need be. Let the kids pick out their "must see" attractions. :firefight
