We lived in the country and didn't have free flowing money either. I got Kmart clothes as a kid. At least they were new, my sisters got hand me downs.

Another Kmart kid here. Scarred me for life. :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Kmart was the COOL NEW place when I was a kid!

OOOO, OOOOO, I can top ya...my mom MADE a lot of my clothes...including CROCHETED PULLOVER VESTS!!!

I went to Catholic school and wore the same thing everyday. I had some basic play cloths but not much more then that. The first designer/name brand anything I bought were Bass shoes from the babysitting money I saved.

I found an Isabella Fiore bag for Don! or was it for his wife? (wink, wink, nudge, nudge, say no more)

Yea, some of her stuff is a tad bit odd....

Actually...my parents never had extra money for things like name brands. I wore a lot of Lee and Chic jeans when I was a teen...not even a real Polo shirt or a Member's Only jacket. I was deprived...
haha! me too. actually i went to catholic school until 8th grade, so i wore a uniform and had very few regular clothes. But i do remember being so excited to have a pair of z-cavaricchis and girbauds and bongos! I loved Clothestime to shop at- was within my budget. I remember being devastated in grade school one of the rare instances we got to wear regular clothes to school- i had on a sweater and my best friend asked where i got it and i told her kmart. She then told the whole class and proceeded to humilate me. I am still traumatized!

We couldn't afford much with 3 girls just a year apart. The only reason we could be in private school is because my mom worked there. i wore a lot of payless!!!! :rotfl2: :confused3 i never owned a real polo shirt either. :upsidedow

I still can't manage to splurge much even these days. Yes, i still buy some clothes at Target! Hey, i love a deal and I am not a huge label girl. I still can't bring myself to buy designer jeans (unless i see them at Ross or Off Fifth or Nordstrom Rack!).......once i get to my goal weight, i'll splurge for some $150 jeans maybe as a treat.

Me too!!!

I had to wear this ugly blue plaid jumper and skirt through 8th grade and then in high school we had to wear Khaki.

I couldn't wear khaki for years afterward and I still can't wear plaid!!! :rotfl:

Now you guys have me thinking...my poor wife is going on the cruise for mothers day, maybe I should arrange a nice purse to be waiting for her when we arrive or placed in our room during dinner. I'll need some assistance...must plan!

Yup, brown plaid in grammar school and then blue plaid in HS. I started out with a jumper but switched over to skirt/vest or jacket combo by about 6th grade.

Jamie! They file down those barbs ya know.

I may be interested since DH can't snorkel (it's the funniest thing I have EVER seen).:rotfl2:

What about the Castaway Island Cruise?

Tour Disney's island oasis, and the nearby Abaco Islands from the deck of a power catamaran in this scenic island tour.

Leave it up to Alicia and myself. We'll find her something real nice.

So Don, what's the limit on your credit card??

Do you think he can afford for us to go shopping on the Champs-Elysées???

I included myself because you will need a porter/personal valet/translator.
