LOL, kind of the same with me. My wife's parents have some money and I well didn't have any. We dated and they weren't excited about it. I was delivering pizza when we got married and they were less than happy. However 3 grand kids later and I'm making pretty good money I think they are happy with how it turned out. Plus I only smack her around when she talks back.

Yeah. DH, no money, grew up on welfare. Has no father. He was bagging groceries when we met. I was a checker in the same grocery store. Now he runs the grocery store, is a great father to our kids, and he takes me on Disney trips. What else could a girl ask for??? And, I'm always a good girl and never talk back, so he's never had to smack me around, lol.
