Just catching up on all the posts I missed. My fingers tips are numb from all the laminating I've been doing! :rotfl2:
Phew! Homestudy update visit is done! Pretty painless overall. Just checking to see what's new with us and to share information regarding the program. I think DH and I are going to submit our paperwork for our agency's special needs program soon. This wait is just getting longer and longer and i'm not sure how much my heart can take. :guilty: So hopefully, either things will speed up or we'll be matched to a child with minor special needs soon!
:grouphug: I'm glad it went well Brandie. :goodvibes
I was just there on Saturday. We took a taxi for $4.00 a person to Atlantis. When you enter go down stairs and to the left and they have a desk where you can buy different packages. We did just the aquarium for $35.00. They have a package for $110.00 that includes all of the pools and slides, the beach and chairs, and aquarium. We walked all around the resort and hung out at one of the pools.
Here are a few pictures.
Thanks for sharing those wonderful photos. They are fantastic! I'm am soooo excited about this cruise!!! :cheer2:

I'm very much looking forward to the cruise, as is the rest of my family. However, I'm so stressed out about the transportation part. I just can't decide what to do. I'm not sure if it's because we normally use ME, and we don't have to figure transportation out. One minute I've decided to get a towncar. One minute, I've decided to try to share and that doesn't work out. The next minute I've decided just to rent a car. Then I think I should just stay at a Disney resort so that we can use ME. I'm being very indecisive, and DH is no help. He's fine with whatever. I want the most cost effective, without being a hassle. It's really something that should be quite simple, but it's not.

Hey now...we'll share transportation from the Dolphin to the Port and back!!! Breathe...stop hyperventilating! ;) :goodvibes
Sounds like Brandie has got you covered!

They had a 50% off sale last year up until Dec 22 for flights right up until November of this year. Haven't seen them do that before! I booked these flights and our flights to Seattle for our Alaska cruise in August.
That was an awesome sale. Congrats on the great deal!:thumbsup2
Who moved the smileys?
Acck! All my favorites are missing!

ETA: It was -11°F :cold: when I left my house this morning. Windchill put it below -30°F. 400+ public school districts and private school systems in the Metro Detroit area were closed due to the temperatures.

CLOSED DUE TO TEMPS TODAY!! WHOOHOOO!

Where is the dancing banana??
I am so sick of this weather! :cold: :cold:
113 Days until "Fun on a Boat!"
:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:
Let's see...it's -1 degree F here in America's Hometown. Don't know what the windchill is...don't want to know. Once the negative numbers start, it all feels the same to me.

-4 with -23 windchill here....
Woke up to -9° this morning. :sad2: lovely.:sad2:
How many more pages until this thread gets closed and we move to another one? :scratchin

isn't it around 250? so what another 70 at least....

Is that a challenge? Where's cocowum?
Woot!!!! Let's close this bad boy down!

And it probably only got closed cuz we had a hook up with us at TSM! That was so fun let me tell ya...standing over Alex's shoulder, posting via iPhone to ensure I got the last post before he closed it...ahhhh...memories...:rotfl2:
Yes, I remember screaming "Nooooooooooooo" :rotfl2: And Kevin looking at me like I was crazy! :rotfl2:
Nixed the egg salad I had in the fridge for a Rueben/Rachel kind of combo. Corned beef and coleslaw. :thumbsup2 (I should have had soup with it as well Kath)

Deb ate all the grapes earlier this week. I have clementines though. PM snack. :)
I love Clementines.
Must be a beer girl. ;)
Mud Slides and Pina Coladas actually. I like dessert drinks. princess:

Impossible! But I might be able to top Jen's workouts.

Hey! I just spent my morning chasing after, feeding, playing with, and changing diapers of 5, yes I said 5 kids.:faint: Now that's a workout!

I just finished a Smart Ones Potatoes, Broccoli, and cheese dinner thingy. Totally not satisfying...especially when i'm just craving a big pile of boneless chicken wings in medium buffalo sauce from Hooters!

I haven't even had lunch! Did I have breakfast?

My countdown ticker says 3 months, 3 weeks, and 3 days......Woo Whoo for the number 3!

333 - only half evil.:p

Hi Kim. The Rachel is actually a version of the Rueben but with pastrami and coleslaw instead of corned beef and saurkraut. I had it with corned beef and coleslaw. I guess I had a Ruechel then. :rotfl2:

Lov's me some mushrooms. ::yes::

We always called the Ruben made with coleslaw and corned beef a Rachel. At least the deli we went to when I was younger called it that. I wish the deli was still there. They had the best corned beef, potato pancakes, rare roast beef and cheesecake. Ooooohhhh for the old days of the Gazebo. I miss them.

Kim

Wow! I'm not going to be able to top that. That is stellar! :cheer2:

For those interested Alamo's weekly rate from May 9th - 16th is $137 for a compact tax included. Just use the Wal-Mart code and online $25 coupon to secure the rate.

Bit late to the party but here is our plan so far:

Fri 8th arrive MCO about 5pm - town car (FL Tours) to Dolphin.

Sat 9th no plan for the day yet but will be at the Poly/Dole Whip/Wishes meet :wave2:

Sun 10th DCL transfer to the port - then 4/5 days of FUN ON A BOAT :boat:

Weds 13th DCL Transfer to Dolphin

Fri 15th Epcot DATW :hyper:

Mon 18th town car to MCO and fly home

We have AP's so can go anywhere (except the water parks/DQ - not that we want to anyway :thumbsup2 ) so will do plenty of rides, maybe not so many ADR's to keep things flexible ::yes::

Whiners, who wines about the opportunity to get a free cruise? Oh well, I probably wouldn't have won but someone whould have.

Someone mentioned the legal implications of having to 'buy' something to win :confused3 and lots of people questioning the idea

But I'm sure we'll all get our monies worth if we know the Podcast Crew ;)
